Indeed, it stands as England's most complete mediaeval city, making it the ultimate retreat for history enthusiasts.A visit to Norwich Cathedral is considered an absolute must, a Grade I listed building that has stood since 1145.Designed by architect John de Ramsey, the structure boasts a striking Gothic exterior, housing a collection of treasures, with breathtaking decorative details adorning the ceiling.It stands proudly as the highest Norman tower and largest monastic cloisters in England, containing more than 1,000 years of history waiting to be explored with the help of their knowledgeable guides and volunteers.One recent visitor wrote on TripAdvisor: "Amazing cathedral, very impressive size and absolutely beautiful inside and out. The seating is very comfortable, and there are lots of options in their large courtyard. The food was fresh, filling and tasty."
