N. Murali, Chairman, and Malini Parthasarathy, Director, The Hindu Group Publishing Private Limited (THGPPL), on Thursday (July 2, 2026) called on Tamil Nadu Chief Minister C. Joseph Vijay at the Secretariat in Chennai.Mr. Murali congratulated the Chief Minister on the Tamilaga Vettri Kazhagam’s (TVK) historic victory in the 2026 Assembly elections. He also explained the current media scene and the role of The Hindu. Dr. Parthasarathy appreciated the development schemes of the government, including the Singappen Special Force.They also presented the Chief Minister with books published by The Hindu Group of Publications.
