Oppo Reno 16 and Reno 16c launched in India: Price, features and sale

Oppo on Thursday (July 2, 2026) launched the Reno 16 series smartphones in India, featuring Reno 16 and Reno 16c. The Reno 16 series phones operate on ColoOS 16 based on Android 16 out of the box.The Chinese smartphone maker also launched Enco Air 5 wireless earbuds with a claimed battery life of 54 hours at ₹3,299.Oppo Reno 16 has a 6.32 inch AMOLED display with a 120 Hz refresh rate and 1,800 nits peak brightness, while the Reno 16c uses a 6.57 inch display with similar refresh rate and 1,400 nits peak brightness. Both the phones bear IP66, IP68, IP69 and IP69K ratings for water and dust resistance.Oppo Reno 16 runs on Snapdragon 7 Gen 4 processor with up to 12 GB RAM and 256 GB storage. Oppo Reno 16 ships with a 6,700 mAh battery supported by an 80W charger inside the box.The Oppo Reno 16 sports a 50 MP main camera, a 50 MP ultrawide camera and a 50 MP telephoto camera. It has a 50 MP selfie camera.Oppo Reno16c gets a 50 MP main camera and a 50 MP selfie camera as well. Both the phones have dual tone flash. The Reno16 series claims to shoot 4K 60fps HDR video across all three focal lengths ultra-wide, main and telephoto.Oppo Reno16 series will also get a suite of AI-powered creative tools like AI Remix Collage, Pop Cam, Popout 2.0, Dual-View Video 2.0 and Oppo Bubble.Oppo Reno16c uses MediaTek Dimensity 7300 SoC with up to 12 GB RAM and 256 GB storage. Oppo Reno16c gets its power from a 7,000 mAh battery, backed by an 80W charger inside the box.Oppo Reno 16 starts at ₹61,999 for the 8 GB/256 GB variant, and ₹67,999 for the 12 GB/256 GB unit. It goes on sale starting July 9 across Oppo, Flipkart, Amazon and retail stores.Oppo Reno 16c begins at ₹46,999 for the 8 GB/128 GB, ₹49,999 for 8 GB/256 GB and ₹55,999 for the 12 GB/256 GB.
