ALBAWABA - In a daring stunt, a couple went viral after climbing to the top of the Empire State Building to unfurl a massive "peace and love" banner and fasten it to the famous skyscraper's antenna.The massive banner read, "When the power of love beats the love of power, the world knows peace." According to NBC New York, the Russian couple, identified as Ivan Kuznetsov and Angelina Nikolau, were arrested following the proposal. Reports indicate that they are the same couple who appeared in the documentary "Skywalkers: A Love Story," which featured them performing similar stunts on skyscrapers across the globe.Witnesses called 911 after spotting the couple hanging 1,454 feet in the air. Both Kuznetsov and Nikolau were charged with felony burglary, reckless endangerment, and criminal mischief. Additionally, they also face charges of tampering, trespassing, disorderly conduct, and possession of burglar's tools.The stunt sparked mixed reactions on social media, with some praising the couple for their bravery while others deemed it a "call for attention" to generate engagement.
