The death toll from Russia's massive combined overnight attack on Kyiv has risen to 13, while the number of injured has increased to 86.

According to Ukrinform, Kyiv Mayor Vitalii Klitschko announced the updated figures on Telegram.

"A total of 86 people have been injured in the capital as a result of the enemy's overnight attack. Seventy of them have been hospitalized. As of now, 13 people are confirmed dead," Klitschko said.

According to the Kyiv City Prosecutor's Office, the Russian attack partially destroyed a five-story and a nine-story residential building, as well as the upper floors of a 16-story apartment block. A medical emergency substation, a gas station, the Palladin Institute of Biochemistry, a hotel, and private homes were also damaged.
