Ram Kapoor continues to find himself at the centre of controversy ever since he entered Lock Upp: Sach Ya Sazaa. Days after his comments defending infidelity in marriage sparked criticism online, the television actor was called out by actress Kangana Ranaut for his attitude inside the reality show. Appearing as Janta Ki Awaaz, Kangana did not hold back as she questioned Ram's approach to the competition and urged him to stop justifying his behaviour if he truly wanted to grow.Kangana Ranaut questions Ram Kapoor's attitudeKangana entered the latest episode alongside hosts Farah Khan and Riteish Deshmukh to interact with the contestants. During her conversation with Ram Kapoor, she criticised the actor for taking the game too seriously and suggested that his behaviour reflected an inflated sense of self.Addressing him directly, Kangana said "Ramji, you shouldn't have taken the game seriously. And if you think that you are too big for this jail, then why did you come here? To show your stupidity?"Ram, however, defended himself. Responding to Kangana's criticism, he said that when the appropriate time came, he would accept responsibility for his actions and reveal his side of the story better than anyone else.Kangana remained firm and advised him "Don't defend yourself if you want to improve."Farah Khan had also criticised Ram earlierThis is not the first time Ram has faced tough feedback on the show. Earlier, during the popular "chargesheet" segment, Farah Khan also questioned his performance in the game. She pointed out that Ram has usually played the lead role throughout his acting career but, inside Lock Upp, he had faded into the background and failed to make a strong impact.Ram did not appear to appreciate the feedback and casually gestured for Farah to stop speaking. His reaction led the filmmaker to express her disappointment. Farah said she did not like the version of Ram she was seeing on the show and felt his behaviour was no longer amusing.Ram, however, remained unfazed. He insisted that he found the situation funny and maintained that this was simply who he is, making it clear that he had no plans to change himself.Previous remarks on marriage sparked backlashEven before Kangana's criticism, Ram Kapoor was embroiled into a controversy over his comments on marriage and infidelity.During an argument with fellow contestant Akanksha Chamola, Ram argued that cheating does not always have to end a marriage. He said, "If you really love your partner, nothing is a dealbreaker. Marriage is hard and it's a journey. You have to work at your marriage every day. There are highs and lows, good periods and bad periods, strong phases and weak phases. In a bad phase, if by mistake something happens, and you can't live without your partner or your children, then time heals everything and nothing is a dealbreaker."His remarks quickly went viral on social media, with many viewers disagreeing with his opinion and accusing him of normalising infidelity. Meanwhile, the competition on Lock Upp: Sach Ya Sazaa continues to become intense. This week, Sunita Ahuja, Harshad Chopda and Akanksha Chamola have secured their safety from elimination. Shreya Kalra, Sufi Motiwala, Shrestha Iyer, Akanksha Chamola and Madhuri Grover remain in the danger zone and will continue fighting to stay in the game.Hosted by Farah Khan and Riteish Deshmukh, Lock Upp: Sach Ya Sazaa features 15 celebrity contestants from the worlds of television, social media and reality entertainment.
