The Chairman of the Ojodu Local Council Development Area, David Odunmbaku
The Chairman of the Ojodu Local Council Development Area, David Odunmbaku, has launched the Federal Government’s PBAT FEEDS school feeding programme, targeting 500 pupils of Ojodu Primary School.
This was contained in a statement by the Chief Press Secretary to Odunmbaku, Ayodele Olalere, on Wednesday.
Olalere stated that the initiative, tagged ‘Adopt A School – Snacks for Thought PBAT FEEDS’, was being implemented under the Renewed Hope National Home-Grown School Feeding Programme in partnership with the private sector.
He noted that the launch in Ojodu coincided with the statewide rollout by the Lagos State Government, where Governor Babajide Sanwo-Olu flagged off the programme at Lagos Island East Local Government, while chairmen of the state’s 57 local governments and LCDAs simultaneously commenced implementation in their respective councils.
