CITY OF MALOLOS, BULACAN, Philippines — The onset of the traditional wet season this month, which also kicks off the rice cropping period, will be a dry one in Bulacan and Pampanga provinces as the water level in Angat Dam dips below the critical level.
The National Irrigation Administration (NIA) said that given the current operating condition of the dam, it could not supply farmers with their needs for irrigation water for the start of cropping season this month.
