Conceived to accommodate art, performance and civic gatherings, it simultaneously evokes deep geological time and the city’s future-facing ambitions.Subscribe to gift this articleGift 5 articles to anyone you choose each month when you subscribe.Subscribe nowAlready a subscriber?
