A magnitude 5.5 earthquake struck Jurm in Afghanistan on Wednesday, the United States Geological Survey (USGS) said.According to the USGS, the quake occurred at a depth of 216.7 km, or 134.65 miles.There were no immediate reports of casualties or damage.The tremor comes just days after a strong earthquake hit Afghanistan's Hindu Kush region on Saturday, with tremors felt in Kabul and across the border in Pakistan, Reuters reported.The Saturday quake was measured at magnitude 6 by the European Mediterranean Seismological Centre and occurred at a depth of 100 km, according to Reuters.
