Matt Smith is lending his voice to a seductive, high-stakes murder mystery.
The House of the Dragon star will narrate The Wolf, a three-episode immersive romance for the audio erotica app Quinn, The Hollywood Reporter can exclusively announce.
For the drama, Smith will take on the role of cunning private investigator James Pierce “who journeys to a centuries-old villa on Lake Como to find Gregory Barclay, a ruthless American billionaire who has vanished without a trace. When James arrives, he discovers his real client is Rosalind, Barclay’s beautiful new wife, and that everyone in Barclay’s glamorous inner circle has something to hide. James tries to keep the case professional, but his growing attraction to Rosalind puts the investigation at risk.”
Smith narrates directly to the listener, who steps into the role of Rosalind.
“The Wolf is a dangerous, sexy, seductive murder mystery. The listener is dropped into a very glamorous world,” Smith says in a statement. “I think this series is for anyone who loves a good murder mystery, and also loves a bit of eroticism in their murder mysteries.”
