Early career: Aaron Wan-Bissaka was born in Croydon and initially represented his home nation at youth level.
He earned caps for the England under-20 and under-21 squads between 2018 and 2019.
Senior call-up: The right-back received his first senior England call-up from manager Gareth Southgate in August 2019 during the Euro 2020 qualifiers.
But he had to withdraw from the squad before making an appearance due to a back injury.
Intense competition: Following his injury withdrawal, a massive bottleneck of elite talent blocked his path back into the England set-up.
