July 1 (UPI) -- Former Miami Heat guard Norman Powell agreed to a two-year, $45 million contract with the Chicago Bulls.

Sources told ESPN, The Athletic and the Chicago Tribune about the pact Wednesday morning.

Powell, 33, averaged 21.7 points, 3.5 rebounds, 2.5 assists and 1.1 steals per game over 58 appearances last season en route to his first All-Star selection.

He joined the Heat from the Los Angeles Clippers last July through a trade, which also involved the Utah Jazz.
