Trinamool Congress MP Mahua Moitra on Wednesday alleged that “goons” from the Bharatiya Janata Party threw vegetables and eggs at a party office in West Bengal’s Krishnanagar.Moitra represents Krishnanagar in the Lok Sabha.She shared a video on social media in which a group of persons could be seen outside the office, throwing eggs and shouting slogans. The police were also present at the spot.“This is a BJP mob that has been standing here for the past one hour,” the MP says in the video. “I have called the DGP [director general of police]. The police are sitting and watching.
