Ukraine will continue expanding the technological capabilities of its drones to strike Russian military targets, including those in temporarily occupied Crimea.
Defense Minister Mykhailo Fedorov made the remarks during a joint press briefing with Swedish Defense Minister Pal Jonson, according to Ukrinform.
Fedorov said advances in technology have enabled Ukraine to carry out such operations, adding that efforts to further enhance these capabilities are ongoing.
He noted that Russia has turned occupied Crimea into a military base used to sustain its occupation of southern Ukraine and to deploy forces to the eastern front, making the peninsula an important military and logistical target.
