Several people have died after a fire broke out at an apartment block in Antwerp on Wednesday, Belgian police said.
A report came in of a blaze on the eighth floor of a building in the city's Linkeroever neighborhood at 9:53 am, Antwerp police said in a statement.
Video footage circulating on social media appears to show the fire, with plumes of black smoke billowing from a balcony. Police and firefighters were dispatched to the scene along with a drone crew.
