RIYADH: The General Authority for Statistics has opened registration for the 6th UN World Data Forum to be held in Riyadh from Nov. 9 to 12.
Registration has also opened for the Second Saudi Statistics Forum, one of the preparatory “Road to Riyadh” events, said GASTAT in a recent press release on its website.
The “Road to Riyadh” showcase is a series of events launched by GASTAT to prepare for the hosting of the UNWDF, which is one of the world’s leading international platforms dedicated to data and sustainable development.
It brings together representatives from governments, international organizations, academia, and the private sector to discuss the future of data, its role in supporting policymaking, and measuring progress toward achieving the UN Sustainable Development Goals.
The forum is expected to bring together participants from across the globe, providing a platform for the exchange of expertise, the sharing of international experiences and best practices, and the development of partnerships that strengthen collaboration in the fields of data and statistics.
