Practical Magic 2 is proving to be one of the most highly anticipated franchise reboots in years, largely thanks to Sandra Bullock and Nicole Kidman both returning as the film’s sister witches. But as well as starring returning cast members Stockard Channing and Dianne Wiest and fresh faces Maisie Williams and Joey King, the film has also attracted a rather unexpected soap actor best known for a short stint on Coronation Street. To British TV fans, Cassie Bradley, 32, is most remembered for her time on the cobbles as trainee hairdresser Natalie Watkins in 2019. She also played the character of Nicole Chester on season 16 of Waterloo Road in 2025.Bradley (pictured) has a surprise role in ‘Practical Magic 2’ (Getty Images)When the trailer for Practical Magic 2, the follow-up to the 1998 fantasy film, dropped in June, eagle-eyed viewers spotted Bradley amongst the cast, with more details about her role soon emerging.Like Bullock and Kidman’s characters, Bradley’s character Hannah is a member of the Owens family and a witch herself.
