The venue is at once named for the Dave Brubeck Quartet’s seminal jazz standard as well as the slang for a five-minute break, framing the lounge as a place for guests to step away from the urban bustle. Jazz guitarist Skip Moy is responsible for the venue’s rotating calendar of performances encompassing jazz, neoclassical and more.Sandeep Kumar helms the bar, serving a concise beverage menu highlighted by five signature cocktails themed after famous jazz standards. Inspired by the humble yet irreplaceable staple of Cantonese culinary culture, the new spirit boasts a fiery, warming complexity.
