According to the official synopsis: "Before Elle Woods was a fish-out-of-water at Harvard, we meet her in 1995 as a fish in the tumultuous waters of high school where she encounters tricky friendships, forbidden romance, and questionable fashion choices.‌"Along the way, Elle learns how to be comfortable in uncomfortable situations, stoking a curiosity that helps her unravel a mystery that touches all aspects of her life including her family, ultimately igniting a lifelong passion for justice."Considering the original film's legendary status, it's hardly surprising that numerous Legally Blonde nods are scattered throughout the series. The question is how many did you clock?Episode titles‌Beginning with perhaps the most blatant one of all, the episode titles pay homage to some of the most memorable lines from the original film, reports OK!Episode 2 for instance is titled 'No silly, I go here' and Episode 3 is 'You're not the girl I thought you were'. Meanwhile the finale is aptly named 'What, like it's hard'.High school name‌Ever noticed the name of the high school Elle attends? It's called Rainier West. At first glance that might not seem significant, but take note of the initials — R. W — which is actually a subtle nod to Reese Witherspoon.And the R. W references don't stop at the school gates either, they pop up throughout the entire series.The red Bottega bag‌In the original film, Elle carried a distinctive red leather Bottega bag. In the Elle pilot episode, however, it's her mother Eva who's spotted with it.Wardrobe department co-head Sara Byblow revealed: "The red Bottega Veneta bag that she wears in the second movie, we actually have on Eva to tell the story that the handbag came from her mother, and her mother passed it on to her. There's all these little pieces we had to puzzle together to find who she would be at 16 years old."And that's not the only familiar wardrobe piece fans might clock. Elle's metallic wedge sandals also make a welcome return.‌Lisa Loeb's performanceSinger Lisa Loeb delivers an on-screen performance of her iconic hit 'Stay (I Missed You)' in Elle. Having featured a track in the original 2001 film, her involvement in the prequel neatly "connects the worlds."Music supervisor Brienne Rose explained: "One really fun crossover is Lisa Loeb, who had a song featured in the original Legally Blonde soundtrack.
