Caroline Flack's brother Paul has died aged 55 just six years after the TV presenter took her own life09:38, 01 Jul 2026Updated 09:39, 01 Jul 2026Caroline Flack's mum revealed her son Paul's sweet role in the family just months before his death.‌Back in November 2025, mum-of-four Christine appeared in a Disney Plus documentary diving into the tragic passing of ex Love Island presenter Caroline. The ITV star died on February 15, 2020, after taking her own life.‌It has now been confirmed that her elder brother Paul has died in hospital, aged 55. He was found unresponsive at his home in Norwich on June 21. Despite efforts to save him, Paul was pronounced dead at the Norfolk and Norwich Hospital.‌In the Disney documentary, Christine explains the various roles her children played in each other's lives. She described Paul as "the fun aspect".Christine said: "Paul, being the only boy, was the fun aspect. He'd get all the naughty things, really, with them [his sisters]."‌Christine also revealed the roles her eldest daughter Elizabeth and twins Caroline and Jody played."[Caroline] was one-off out of the four children, really," she started. "She was always a character. She was the funny one as well, she'd make us laugh. She liked performing to me and her dad."She continued: "Carrie and her twin sister, Jo, they'd never grown apart. It was always them two against the world. My eldest daughter, Lizzie, was ten when the twins were born. When they'd get up in the night, they'd get in her bed, which was lovely."‌When Caroline died, Christine says their family "changed quickly".The Flack family has sadly lost another member just six years on. Paul, who worked as a graphic designer, is survived by his partner and their children.‌Norfolk Police said in a statement: "Officers were called by ambulance after concerns for the safety of a man in his 50s. He was taken by ambulance to Norfolk and Norwich University Hospital but was sadly pronounced dead at 10.44pm. The death is being treated as unexplained at this time but police do not currently believe there are any suspicious circumstances."A provisional post mortem found his cause of death to be cardiac arrest due to hanging, according to The Eastern Daily Press.
