Wimbledon, the tennis extravaganza beloved of the Royal Family and celebrities alike, has already served up a runway of elegant ensembles – from lace gowns to pinstriped two-pieces.The 14-day tournament, which kicked off on Monday, is a chance for famous faces to showcase their fashion prowess while watching the action on court. But Laura Windsor, dubbed the Queen of Etiquette, warned how not all sartorial choices made by those stepping out at the All England Club are up to scratch. While there's no formal dress code for guests unless they're seated in the Royal Box, Laura told the Daily Mail that spectators should avoid wearing large-brimmed hats if they are likely to obstruct the view of others.'If your hat causes a problem, you may be asked to remove or adjust it – so if you're relying on it to hide a bad hair day, think twice!'The etiquette expert continued: 'Avoid clothing that is overly revealing. The British social season has traditionally valued modesty and understated elegance. 'While expressing your personality through fashion is encouraged, choosing tasteful attire is more in keeping with the atmosphere of the Championships. 'If you are seated in the front rows, avoid wearing highly reflective or sequinned clothing or accessories, as bright reflections can distract the players during the game.'
