Budget airline IndiGo has expanded its fare portfolio with the launch of 'IndiGo Lite', a lower-priced economy class option for passengers travelling with only cabin baggage.Available exclusively on the airline's direct booking channels from July 1 for travel starting July 15, the new fare covers all non-stop domestic and international routes, offering a 7-kg cabin baggage allowance, a complimentary auto-assigned seat, and the flexibility to purchase add-ons such as checked baggage, preferred seats, meals and priority services separately.Read More: IndiGo's Chief Human Resources Officer Pasricha resignsThe airline said that those who book the Lite ticket would still earn and redeem the carrier’s IndiGo ‘BluChip’ loyalty points.The airline currently operates a fleet of more than 440 aircrafts, flies over 2,100 daily services, and connects more than 95 domestic and 40 international destinations.
