An Emirates airline jet suffered a malfunction midair and was forced to circle over London for 90 minutes before returning to London’s Heathrow Airport on New Year’s Eve, according to several media reports.
“The double-decker Airbus A380 departed from Heathrow’s runway at 2:32 p.m., 52 minutes late and was initially scheduled to arrive in Dubai at 12:40 a.m.,” British tabloid The Daily Mail reported.
