Plateau State Governor, Caleb Mutfwang, has approved a restructuring of the state’s security architecture, appointing retired Brig.-Gen. Nash Yakubu as the Coordinator of Operation Rainbow, the state-owned security outfit.

The appointment was announced in a statement issued on Tuesday by the Secretary to the State Government, Samuel Jatau.

According to the statement, Yakubu retired from the Nigerian Army after 35 years of service, during which he participated in several local and international operations.
