On the night of June 29, soldiers from the 413th “Raid” Regiment of the Unmanned Systems Forces of the Armed Forces of Ukraine struck four power substations in the temporarily occupied Crimea, which the Russian invaders use to supply power to military facilities.

According to Ukrinform, the 413th Regiment of the Unmanned Systems Forces reported this on Facebook and released a video of the operation.

“On the night of June 29, operators from the 413th Regiment of the Special Forces ‘Raid’ struck four electrical substations in the Kurman and Dzhankoy districts of occupied Crimea, as well as in Dzhankoy itself,” the statement reads.

According to “Raid,” the targeted substations were the 220/35 kV “Maryanivka” substation, the 110/35/10 kV “Oleksandrivka” substation, the 110/35/10 kV ‘Vypasne’ substation, and the 330 kV “Dzhankoy” substation.

As explained by the military, the invaders use these substations to power military facilities and other military infrastructure, the operation of which requires significant amounts of electricity.
