The Czech Army is interested in studying the combat experience of Ukrainian military personnel and intends to develop cooperation with the Armed Forces of Ukraine at various levels.

This was stated in comments to Ukrinform by the new and former Chiefs of the General Staff of the Army of the Czech Republic, Miroslav Hlavač and Karel Řehka, as well as Czech Defense Minister Jaromír Zuna.

According to Hlavač, cooperation between the Czech and Ukrainian armies is ongoing and will continue to develop. He emphasized that the combat experience the Armed Forces of Ukraine are gaining in actual combat operations is extremely valuable for developing the capabilities of the Czech Army.

“The more combat experience the Armed Forces of Ukraine gain in real combat, the more valuable it is to us for the further development of the capabilities of the Army of the Czech Republic. I have no intention of changing anything in this regard. On the contrary, I am convinced that our contacts and cooperation with the Armed Forces of Ukraine will continue,” the general said.
