Police in Durban Central have opened an inquest docket following the death of a foreign national who allegedly jumped from the 8th floor of a building on Margaret Mncadi Avenue on Monday night.

Police in Durban Central have opened an inquest docket for investigation after a foreign national died in an incident on Margaret Mncadi Avenue in Durban on Monday June 29.

It is alleged that three foreign nationals had broken into a storage facility and remained inside the premises for three days.

On Monday night, the group reportedly heard noises and believed they were being targeted.

One of the men allegedly jumped from the 8th floor of the building and sustained serious injuries, including broken limbs. He was declared dead at the scene.
