Dr. Lankapalli Bullayya College of Engineering (Autonomous), under the Society for Collegiate Education, has launched Dr. Lankapalli Bullayya Polytechnic (POLYCET Code: DLBC), with admissions open for the 2026-27 academic year.The institution will offer diploma programmes in Civil Engineering, Electrical and Electronics Engineering, Electronics and Communication Engineering, Computer Science Engineering, and Artificial Intelligence and Machine Learning.According to the management, the curriculum prescribed by the Department of Technical Education will be supplemented with laboratory training, industrial visits, internships, project-based learning and skill development programmes to enhance students’ employability and prepare them for higher education.Secretary and Correspondent G. Madhu Kumar said the institution aimed to provide accessible and affordable technical education while focusing on innovation, discipline, ethics and industry collaboration.Principal D. Deepak Chowdary said the polytechnic has qualified faculty, laboratories, smart classrooms, a library and computer facilities. He added that emphasis would be laid on personality development, communication skills, entrepreneurship and campus placements.The institution also plans to collaborate with industries to facilitate internships, industrial training, guest lectures, live projects and placement opportunities for students.
