President of Ukraine Volodymyr Zelensky held a meeting with Jonathan Powell, the National Security Advisor to the Prime Minister of the United Kingdom, focusing on continued support for Ukraine and the situation on the front line.
Zelensky announced the meeting on Telegram, according to Ukrinform.
"During a meeting with the National Security Advisor to the Prime Minister of the United Kingdom, Jonathan Powell, we discussed continued support for Ukraine. We are grateful to the United Kingdom for its decision regarding a new support package worth nearly £290 million," he wrote.
Zelensky noted that partners acknowledge Ukraine’s achievements on the front lines, as well as the results of mid-range and deep strikes.
"We discussed the situation on the battlefield, in Ukraine's temporarily occupied territories, including Crimea, and inside Russia – fuel shortages and shifting public sentiment," he said.
