It’s been about a year since Gen Z declared a war on leggings, and while I might not be the one leading the charge — I’ll leave that to Sky Ting regulars and TikTok girlies — I can’t remember the last time I wore a pair. As was the custom for elder Gen-Zers like myself, I wore black leggings throughout middle school, then faithfully continued to wear them for dance practices in high school and yoga classes in college. But just like my once-skinny jeans, it was only a matter of time before I yearned for something baggier.
