Ukrainian Foreign Minister Andrii Sybiha has said that efforts are underway to organize a meeting between Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky and South Korean President Lee Jae Myung.
Sybiha announced this during a TV broadcast, according to an Ukrinform correspondent.
"We talked about energy and infrastructure. I see tremendous interest in Ukraine's reconstruction. We will continue working to maintain this high-level dialogue and move toward a meeting between our Presidents. It is essential that such a meeting takes place," Ukraine's top diplomat said.
According to Sybiha, one of the key topics of his talks with South Korean Foreign Minister Cho Hyun was the participation of North Korean troops in Russia's war against Ukraine.
"We discussed ways to minimize the risks. I informed my counterpart about the discovery of Western-made components in North Korean ballistic missiles. We also discussed how to further limit North Korea's ability to circumvent sanctions," he said.
