Public payments portal, Govspend records, reviewed by SaharaReporters show that the payment was made on May 15, 2026, to Akoveh Consulting Nigeria Limited.

The Federal Co-operative College, Ibadan, Oyo State, spent N118.42million on consultancy services for the procurement of furniture, Information and Communication Technology (ICT) equipment, networking infrastructure and other items for its proposed 500-seat Computer-Based Test (CBT) centre.

This has raised fresh questions about public spending on consultancy contracts.

According to the payment record, the company received N118.418million as "consultancy fees for procurement of ICT equipment, furniture, networking etc for 500-seater Federal Co-operative College Ibadan CBT Centre."
