DUBAI: Shanina Shaik has teamed up with Canadian activewear label 437 for a new capsule collection, bringing her signature minimalist style to a range of elevated workout and everyday essentials.
The collaboration, which launched this week, marks Shaik’s first collection with the Toronto-based brand and features sleek separates in a palette of black, cream, heather grey and scarlet. The line includes sports bras, leggings, tanks, shorts and off-duty pieces designed to transition from the gym to everyday wear. Shaik said on social media that the project was about more than creating activewear, describing it as an opportunity to bring “a vision to life.”
Founded in 2016 by Hyla Nayeri and Adrien Bettio, 437 began as a swimwear label before expanding into activewear and lifestyle collections. Named after the address of the founders’ university home, the brand’s designs have been worn by celebrities including Jennifer Lopez, Bella Hadid, Kendall Jenner, Kylie Jenner, Emily Ratajkowski and Sydney Sweeney.
Born in Australia and of Saudi, Pakistani and Lithuanian descent, Shaik is no stranger to the rigors of fashion week and was most recently spotted in Paris in March, attending events including a dinner to celebrate US cosmetics brand Hourglass’s new brand partner. She was also on hand as British designer Victoria Beckham presented her latest collection.
