Sadiya Siddiqui, who claims to still love Shah Rukh Khan, admitted that back then, her own confession to Kundan Shah surprised her. She wondered where the courage to declare her feelings directly to the director came from. But Kundan simply laughed at her words and asked Sadiya what she wanted to do. To this, the actress stated that she wanted to be SRK’s girlfriend, but the director told her that she was ‘too young’. Sadiya, however, was adamant that she could play an older character, even dressing up like a grown woman to convince the director. Recalling the moment, Sadiya Siddiqui remembered that she picked out her best dress, put in makeup and curled up her hair. I was looking like a cartoon because I was a little girl trying to look older,’ she said playfully, adding that her efforts went futile when Kundan Shah simply laughed it off. He told her that she would be playing Shah Rukh Khan’s sister and there was no alternative. ‘It was very difficult. I had different feelings for him in my heart,’ said Sadiya. All about Kabhi Haan Kabhi NaaKabhi Haan Kabhi Naa featured Shah Rukh Khan and Suchitra Krishnamoothi in the lead, essaying the characters of Sunil and Anna, respectively.
