Education Authority tells parents at 16 additional schools that personal data of children may have been stolen in C2K breach
The number of schools in Northern Ireland believed to have been affected by a hack of the C2K education network in April has more than doubled, as authorities continue their investigation.
The Education Authority has sent letters to parents at 23 schools warning that their child’s personal data may have been accessed in the incident.
Some 16 of those schools had not previously received warnings of a data breach related to the hack.
