Las Vegas Police desperately searching for a Melbourne woman who failed to board her flight home more than a week ago say the 26-year-old may be in “severe emotional distress”. Melbourne woman Sally Grace Contarino, 26, has been travelling across the US alone and was scheduled to fly home on June 21. Ms Contarino last contacted her family on June 20, one day before her scheduled flight, and has not been seen since. The Las Vegas Police Department have since released CCTV footage of the missing woman walking with a bag slung across her shoulder. The police department issued an urgent appeal for Ms Contarino, describing her as an “endangered missing adult”.They said Ms Contarino may be “experiencing severe emotional distress” and in need of medical attention. “Detectives are seeking the public’s assistance to locate Sally Grace Contarino, who is missing and endangered,” the statement read. Recent photos of Ms Contarino showed the woman travelling through the Nevada and California regions.The Sun US reports Ms Contarino was seen eating at the Timbers Bar and Grill in Las Vegas, where staff said she was “quiet” and seemed “happy”.Restaurant manager Jocelyn Zeigler-Arthur said the neighbourhood where her hostel was located was “terrible”.“It is not great for a girl alone,” she said. Ms Contarino is described of having a slim build with brown hair and brown eyes. She was last seen wearing a grey or blue sweatshirt, denim shorts, black and white shoes and carrying a bag. “She is also known to enjoy hiking,” the police statement read.
