President Volodymyr Zelensky stated that over the course of this week and the coming weeks, Ukraine will actively work with international partners to bring peace closer and expects positive decisions from the G7 countries and members of the Coalition of the Willing.
According to Ukrinform, the head of state announced this in a video address on Telegram.
“This week and in the coming weeks, we will be working with our partners—there are steps that need to be taken to bring peace closer. We have a busy international schedule ahead. We very much look forward to a positive response from the Group of Seven regarding our requests, as well as from the members of the Coalition of the Willing,” Zelensky said.
According to the President, June and July should be productive months for Ukraine, first and foremost in the shared effort to ensure security.
“Peace is essential. I thank everyone who is helping us defend Ukraine; I thank each and every one of you who strengthens our nation and does not forget to care for those around you,” the head of state concluded.
