Eligible Georgia Tech employees can apply for tuition assistance through July 15.

If you’ve been thinking about starting a program or continuing your education this fall, you have until July 15 to apply for education assistance. Programs Available for Eligible Faculty and Staff The Tuition Assistance Program (TAP) provides a tuition waiver to full-time, benefits-eligible employees who have worked for at least six months within the University of System of Georgia. The Staff Tuition Reimbursement Assistance Program (STRAP) provides partial tuition reimbursement at any accredited private institution. Employees are eligible for STRAP if they have worked at Georgia Tech for at least 12 months. Note: Time worked in a temporary position does not count toward the eligibility requirement for either program. How to Apply Apply to your chosen institution through its admissions office. List your intended courses. If you are unsure, make your best guess. You can request to change it later via your application.Submit your application and it will automatically route for approval. Register for classes. All TAP and STRAP applications must be submitted and approved by Wednesday, July 15 at 5 p.m. Late applications cannot be accepted. A new application is required each semester.
