Barcelona are weighing up a move for Bayern Munich and England striker Harry Kane, though the forward’s attention is firmly fixed on the ongoing World Cup.

The Spanish giants are working through the financial logistics of a potential deal for Kane, who has just wrapped up one of the most remarkable individual seasons in recent European football history.

The 31-year-old netted 61 club goals and contributed seven assists in 51 appearances for Bayern in 2025/26: a tally that puts him in the company of Cristiano Ronaldo, the last player to reach that mark, for Real Madrid over a decade ago.

On top of his club exploits, Kane claimed his second European Golden Shoe as the top scorer across Europe’s top five leagues, a feat achieved by only a handful of players.

Only Lionel Messi (six) and Ronaldo (four) have won the award more times.
