The Telangana government on Monday (June 29) issued transfer and posting orders for several IPS officers across the State, including Commissioners of Police, Joint Commissioners of Police and Superintendents of Police.Sunpreet Singh, Commissioner of Police, Warangal, has been transferred and posted as Joint Commissioner of Police, Traffic, Cyberabad. He has also been given full additional charge of Deputy Inspector General of Police, Zone III, Rajanna, until further orders.N. Swetha, Joint Commissioner of Police (Law and Order), North Range, Hyderabad City, has been transferred and posted as Commissioner of Police, Warangal, replacing Sunpreet Singh. She will also hold the full additional charge (FAC) of Deputy Inspector General of Police, Zone IV, Bhadradri.Ambar Kishor Jha, Commissioner of Police, Ramagundam, has been entrusted with full additional charge of Deputy Inspector General of Police, Zone I, Kaleshwaram, while D. Joel Davis, Joint Commissioner of Police, Traffic, Hyderabad City, has been given FAC of Deputy Inspector General of Police, Zone V, Yadadri.R. Bhaskaran, Deputy Inspector General of Police, CI Cell, Intelligence, has been assigned full additional charge of Deputy Inspector General of Police, Zone II, Basara. S.M. Vijay Kumar, Joint Commissioner of Police, Special Branch, Hyderabad City, will additionally hold charge as Joint Commissioner of Police (Law and Order), North Range, Hyderabad City.Ch. Sindu Sarma, Joint Director, Anti Corruption Bureau, has been transferred and posted as Superintendent of Police, CI Cell, Intelligence. She will also hold additional charge of Superintendent of Police, SIB. Y. Sai Sekhar has been transferred as Superintendent of Railway Police, Secunderabad.Chennuri Rupesh, Deputy Commissioner of Police, SM&IT, Hyderabad City, and Ch. Praveen Kumar, Joint Director, Anti Corruption Bureau, have both been transferred and posted as Superintendents of Police in the CID.R. Venkateshwarlu, who was awaiting posting, has been appointed Deputy Commissioner of Police, CAR Headquarters, Hyderabad City. The order also cancelled the earlier posting of the officer as Superintendent of Police, CID.Rajesh Meena, Additional Superintendent of Police (Administration), Wanaparthy, has been transferred and posted as Additional Superintendent of Police (Administration), Vikarabad, replacing B. Ramulu Naik, who has been directed to report to the office of the Director General of Police.The government directed all officers concerned to assume charge of their new postings immediately.
