DUBAI: Fashion stars Sandra Shehab and Amina Muaddi were among the high-profile guests at Jacquemus’ latest runway presentation, as the French luxury house transformed the dramatic Phare de la Pietra lighthouse in Corsica into the setting for its spring/summer 2027 collection, Le Bonheur.

Held on June 29, the intimate show continued designer Simon Porte Jacquemus’ tradition of staging collections in spectacular natural landscapes. Previous presentations have unfolded in lavender fields, salt marshes and the gardens of Versailles, while this season the Mediterranean island of Corsica provided the backdrop for a collection inspired by light, nature and the joy of simple living.

“I am deeply honored and proud to present this show at the Phare de la Pietra in L’Ile-Rousse, a place of exceptional beauty and history,” Jacquemus said in a statement shared exclusively with WWD.

“I am also delighted to partner with the town of L’Ile-Rousse in supporting the restoration and preservation of this unique heritage site,” he added. “Bringing these places to life and helping ensure their legacy is passed on to future generations is something that is particularly close to my heart.”
