A woman was rushed to a local trauma centre in critical condition after she was struck by a driver early Monday morning.
Police said they responded to reports of a pedestrian that was struck just after 6 a.m. on Monday in the Carlaw Avenue and Commissioners Street area.
A pedestrian in his 40s was transported to hospital in critical condition, according to police.
Officers immediately provided first aid to the woman, who is aged in her 70s.
Police were called to the area of Keele Street and Wilson Avenue around 6 a.m. for reports of “a large group of people fighting.”
The driver of the car, a 29-year-old woman, was arrested at the scene
Police said the collision occurred before 1 a.m. on Thursday and sent four people to the hospital.
