Total prize money: The overall player compensation pool for the 2026 Wimbledon tournament has reached an unprecedented £64.2 million when factoring in all competitions.

This constitutes a huge 20 per cent increase compared to the 2025 aggregate of £53.5m, representing the most substantial one-year growth in the history of the event, according to the All England Club.

Qualifying rounds: The monetary payouts have also been elevated prior to the commencement of the main tournament, with the aggregate purse for the qualification phase climbing by 25 per cent overall.

Consequently, tennis players who were knocked out in the opening round of the qualifiers still pocket a sum of £20,000.

First round singles prize money: Tennis stars competing in the opening round of the main singles brackets will collect a lucrative payout of £80,000.
