The Russian army launched a missile strike on the town of Berestyn in the Kharkiv region; one casualty has been reported so far.

Oleh Syniehubov, head of the Kharkiv Regional Military Administration, reported this on Telegram, according to Ukrinform.

"The Russian army launched a missile strike on the town of Berestyn. As of now, one person is known to have been injured—a 72-year-old woman suffered blast injuries. She is receiving the necessary medical care," he said.

Emergency services are working at the site of the strike, Syniehubov added.
