TAPMI welcomes new batch of MBA students.

Manipal-based TA Pai Management Institute (TAPMI), a constituent of the Manipal Academy of Higher Education (MAHE), commenced the academic year for the batch 2026-28 recently.TAPMI welcomed the 44th batch of MBA, 13th batch of MBA - Banking and Financial Services (BKFS), ninth batch of MBA - Human Resources (HRM), eighth batch of MBA - Marketing, fifth batch of MBA -International Business (IB), second batch of MBA (AI&DS) and fourth year Integrated Programme in Management (IPM).Welcoming the new batch, Debasis Pradhan, Director of TAPMI, highlighted the distinctive strengths that have established TAPMI among India’s leading business schools.The chief guest, Vinod Easwaran, Managing Director and CEO of Jio Payments Bank and TAPMI alumnus (Batch 1991-93), said: “Indian talent is insurmountable. You can compete with anyone anywhere. Don’t let anyone, including the voice in your head, make you doubt that Indians have conquered the globe as far as corporate talent is concerned. Don’t let anything undermine your skills or make you believe that you are second to anyone.”The guest of honour, Arpita Khadria, Founder and CEO, Barefoot Consultancy and TAPMI alumna (batch 2006-08), said: “In the real world, management is not about having perfect resources or perfect circumstances. You will always have unknown situations. Dealing with these uncontrollable is what a course like this delivers rigorously to prepare you for the real world.”Madhu Veeraraghavan, Pro Vice-Chancellor, MLHS (Management, Law, Humanities and Social Sciences) and Pro Vice-Chancellor, MAHE-Bengaluru, said: “When going into a management course, keep your perspective wide enough to understand how quickly you can adapt and continue being useful to a market that is evolving so rapidly. There are three simple things to keep in mind --depth will give you credibility, breadth will give you mobility and synthesis will give you leadership.”Varun Sharma, Chairperson - Admissions, presented the profile of the incoming cohort, comprising over 500 students from diverse academic disciplines and representing 23 States and Union Territories across India.
