DJ Bhavistro is breaking new ground with "Devotional Frequencies", a 12-track project that brings together spirituality and technology in a fresh way.
"Devotional music has always been about connection, and I wanted to find a new way to create that connection for a new generation," said DJ Bhavistro, the South African producer behind “Devotional Frequencies”, a project that combines Indian devotional music with modern technology.
Born Bhavish Ramesh and raised in Pietermaritzburg, Bhavistro has built a reputation for pushing creative boundaries.
His latest project explores the meeting point between faith, culture and innovation through a collection of tracks that blend traditional bhajans, sacred chants and modern electronic production.
Music has been part of his life from an early age. Growing up in a home filled with different sounds helped shape the artist he would become.
