June 29, 2026 — 7:40amA man has been charged with murder after a woman was allegedly shot and killed south of Brisbane.The 23-year-old victim was found with life-threatening injuries by emergency services about 8pm on Sunday at the home on Loder Street in Biggera Waters on the Gold Coast.She died at the scene.A man of the same age was arrested.He has been charged with domestic violence murder and unlawful possession of weapons used to commit an indictable offence.The man will appear at Southport Magistrates Court on Monday.Start the day with a summary of the day’s most important and interesting stories, analysis and insights.
