Saudi Crown Prince Mohammed bin Salman received a phone call from French President Emmanuel Macron on Sunday, during which the two leaders discussed regional and international developments, the Saudi Press Agency (SPA) reported on Sunday.
According to SPA, the leaders reviewed the latest developments surrounding the memorandum of understanding signed between the United States and Iran, as well as ongoing efforts to reach “comprehensive solutions that would achieve security and stability in the region”

The two sides also stressed the importance of ensuring freedom of navigation and supporting diplomatic efforts aimed at de-escalating regional tensions, SPA said.
MBS and Macron further discussed areas of bilateral cooperation and a number of regional and international issues of mutual interest.
