MANILA, Philippines – Homegrown fast-food giant Jollibee Foods Corp. (JFC) is ramping up its expansion across the Philippines, seeing significant room for growth in provincial areas where its presence remains relatively limited despite its nationwide footprint.
At its annual stockholders’ meeting, JFC said market penetration in many provincial municipalities stood at only about 15 percent, highlighting what it described as a substantial opportunity to bring its brands closer to more Filipino consumers.

“While it [Jollibee] has a strong nationwide presence, its market penetration in many provincial municipalities remains relatively low at approximately 15 percent, creating substantial opportunity to bring its brands closer to more consumers across the country,” the company said.
